5.             IMPORTANT NOTES

5.1                FDW Financial Loan are taken either overseas or locally in Singapore.   The FDW are either sponsored and trained by theOverseasTrainingCenter or directly through our office inSingapore.

5.2                The Placement fee is capped at 1 month’s salary for each year of validity of the applicant’s work pass or period of contract, up to a maximum of 2 months’ salary (except for Filipino FDW). 

5.3                The market rates starting salary for all FDW are from S$380 to S$600, depending on their qualifications, skills, knowledge, social abilities, etiquette and work performance.  There is no minimum salary or cap except where applicable by the Overseas country or the respective national’s embassy requirements.  The FDW can choose to opt for a lower salary, in order to be competitive, successful in getting a job in Singapore.   Coercion is strictly NOT ALLOWED. 

5.4                All FDW are entitled to 1 off day a week or averge of 4 off days a month.  Any off days not taken, the FDW and or Employer must agree on the monetary compensation in lieu before commencement of work.  The off day in lieu is calculated by taking Basic Salary / 26 days. 

5.5                Employers are entitled to 1 to 1 FDW replacement within three (3) months period from deployment date.  The Agency Fees shall be waived for the 1 free replacement.

5.6                Employer can opt to refund on pro-rated basis, the Security Bond/Medical Insurance and FDW Financial Loan/Placement Fees.   The refund is pro-rated and it is subject to full compliance of the standard EA-Employer Contract and FDW-Employer Contract, that is strictly, the FDW must be return to the Agency for transfer.   Normally, refund is disperse within or by 45 days.

Dintinctively,  we provide the least expensive service as we operate in a compact size outfit.    The maids will enjoy our low operating costs and the maids needs only 2 to 8 months to repay their Financial Loan.   Most of our maids are highly motivated because of the low fees, shorter re-payment months, good rapport and communication.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Agency Fee is to be paid upon selection of FDW and submission of WPOL application with Ministry of Manpower (MOM).  Upon approval and issuance of In-Principle Approval (IPA) from MOM,  employers are required to make payment for the Security Bond & Medical Insurance (SB & MI). Once the maid arrives into Singapore,  the Maid must complete their Medical Examinations and complete the Settling-In Program (SIP) (which are part of the requirements of MOM).
2. Refund of Agency Fees is allowed if the employer exhausts all means of securing a IPA approval (a minimum administration fee of S$150 is applied).
3. After IPA approval and after FDW deployment with employer less than 6 months, the Agency shall refund to the employer pro-rated on the SB & MI (Bond & Medical Insurance) fees, less $30 administrative fees. Any balance upfront monies paid for the maid's loan/placement fees shall also be pro-rated.

FINANCIAL LOAN  &  PLACEMENT FEES

*** IMPORTANT NOTES ***

*** FOREIGN DOMESTIC WORKERS (FDW) are required to read below  stated terms and conditions before taking up any offer of employment through Maids & Manpower Agency LLP (MMA).

*** FDW are throughly notified of the terms and conditions before coming to Singapore and shall be reminded a 2nd time upon their arrival into Singapore. An Employment Contract between Employer and the FDW shall be offered, agreed and signed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The Financial Loan ranges for different nationality.  Normally,  the employer will advance the maids' salary from 2 to  6 months to repay the FDW's Financial Loan.  
2. The overseas Financial Loan and the Placement Fees are deducted from the maid's salary.  A promissory note / salary schedule is given to the FDW,  Employer and MMA before deployment.
3. Prior to the FDW departure from their home country,  the FDW have to bear their Financial Loan in their home country which include the home country's placement fees, training fees,  processing fees, airfare and other fees such as accomodation, meals, transportation, advance loans etc.
4. The FDW are advivsed to check the actual costs of their total recruiting feees before coming to Singapore or to other destinations.
5. The Agency have noted some fraudulent practices by FDW, claiming that the contracts, recruiting fees have been wrongfully imposed on them as the law stipulates that they are required to sign a different contract with their respective embassies.  The FDW are advised that the contracts signed betweeen the Employer, FDW and MMA shall supersede any other contracts thereof.
6. In Singapore,  the placement fees imposed is 2 months for a 2 year contract.  If the FDW is transferred before the 6th month,  she has to bear an additional month placement fees.   The overseas FINANCIAL LOAN  are paid by the FDW through salary deductions.   There are no minimum wages in Singapore and it is illegal to set a minimum wage in Singapore.  FDW are entittled to 4 off days a month starting 1st January 2013.
7. MMA shall render assistance and advises from time to time on the changes in the regulatory requirements in their home country and or in Singapore.
